I don't have any stats in front of me, but I seem to remember Robinson leading the team in tackles for a couple of years. Not something you want your free safety doing. He was awesome, the rest of the defense, not so much.

Eugene Robinson played 11 seasons (165 games) and has the 2nd most alltime INT's (42) behind Dave Brown and 2nd alltime in tackles behind Bobby Wagner. Top 50 alltime Seahawk.

Unless they are asked to come back for what ever reason, why would they come back.. these are not the same teams they knew.

Hmm. Maybe ask Walter Jones or Jacob Green or the many, many other great former Seahawks why they come back.

It's not just about honoring their era, but it's a fraternity. Look at all the pro football players who still gush about their former college teams.

Stuff like that kind of bothered me when I was younger, but after having to spend 3 years in south Louisiana, I understand. Not every place is for everyone.
Same with me after living for a number of years in West Virginia.

My Seahawks fandom began with Joey Galloway and was cemented with Shawn Springs, and while it would be awesome to see them reconnect with this team in ANY way, they have their own lives to live and it's not their job to make me fondly remember my childhood. At the time, I was disappointed that Galloway left the way he did, but I'm happy he has found success with ESPN, and whatever Springs is up to these days, I hope he's doing well also.

Those players. You mentioned were career players for the Seahawks. Robinson was a all pro for the Seahawks, yet they dumped him because he wouldn't take a paycut.. Why would he want to come back... Your company demands you to take a paycut, and after you refuse, they fire you and youre coming back to celebrate with them?

He was voted MVP by his teammates in 1991 and 1993. Sandwiching the hall of famer. Probably the greatest underrated 'hawk of all-time. How his time went after Seattle doesn't matter much to me. I think he still has a ton of respect from the guys of that era.

Yet, the ultimate snub...Kenny Easley even found it in his heart to come home after all he went through with the team.

Kenny was smart enough to realize that the organization that did him dirty was not the same organization that honored him years later. Look, I'm not trying to convince you one way or another. It's a simple observation that has stood out like a sore thumb to me for years.

Fredd Young and Mike Tice (Tice did earlier on but not sure if he's involved as much anymore).
I met Mike Tice at a restaurant in Pensacola, Florida about 15 years ago. He was stunned that anyone recognized him. I told him I was from the PNW and a Seahawks fan and he spoke very highly of the Hawks and his time here, for what it's worth.

I have heard somewhere that one of Paul Allen's first moves after he officially became owner was to get things settled with Kenny Easley.

The pre-Paul Allen 90s Seahawk owners didn't take care of the players the way they have the last 30 years. The majority of Hawk players since then all seem to come back.
