Saw in his presser that he said the Rams were talking on the sideline when they were up 16 and that really motivated the defense. They looked really motivated in the 4th quarter and I wondered what got into them and it seems like it was the rams. I wish they’d have played that motivated the whole game but I’ll take it.

I saw that too.. I think some guys were talking sh!t to them on the field too after they scored the TD to go up 16

Puka was really chatting it up. When you team is rolling its seems best to not add fuel to the opponents fire. Emotions can get carried away in big games.

Seems like a dumb move to motivate a division rival when there are a ton of incentives on the table, lol. Thanks LA, atleast they're good for something. Hope this adds fuel to the fire for the rest of the year.

-- It is both a blessing and curse how these guys talk about things like that. The notion that you have the division on the line, in your own house, you're getting gashed up and down the field, and no biggie. But then someone on the sideline says something about your mama or how they are kicking you a$$ at the time, and oh you just go crazy.

-- Add to that, you are alledgedly aware of how trash talk like that can motivate an opponent, yet you will do it every chance you get. This is not a shot at Ernest, I love Jones, but a lot of these guys say this same stuff. I get it, I remember bowing up when someone starts talking, but it is just funny to comprehend how incompatible these two thought processes are.

Based on guys like Kinchens and Nakua taking some subtle shots at Darnold after the last game I'll bet they were part of it. Verse too. Pretty sure even that little shimmy Stafford did at one point was directed at the Seahawk sideline
