Should I bother even watching this game? I'll go bet the over for a consolation prize.

On the bright side, there’s almost no tape of these back-ups playing together under MMs system. Hoping to see some scheming to confuse Goff.

I get the sense that this is a lot of load management/exercising caution stuff early in the season. They have a 2 game lead and I think this staff saw how atrocious our D was in the second half of last year and they want to take things slow with minor injuries. I also think they trust the scheme and the depth.

But like, mafe has a bruised knee that's "nothing major". He's probably back next week Chenna was limited today. He's probably back next week. Leo has a rib thing. Probably back next week or the week after. Murphy is the only one that might miss a few weeks. This obviously sucks for this week but it doesn't worry me over the long haul.

Did Mafe get worse throughout the week? I knew something was bothering him, but I never even considered that he could miss this game.

Eh, I'm not worried. We'll be all right if Dodson and Baker make it through. We have pretty good depth in the front 7, and Chenna hasn't played all year, so it's hard to count that as a loss.

As long as the O-line holds up, we have an excellent shot to win this game.

Don't know why the panic. D-line still has good depth and the defense will look better than last year against the Lions. Geno will light it up. I think we we win by at least 7 and then the media will blame it on Lion's injuries

I know defenses will substitute players throughout the game based on situations but who are they looking at to actually start?

I've been talking about Seattle going to Ford field and slapping people around, now I feel I might've prematurely ran my mouth .

For some reason I'm not concerned.

They were bad-mid last year, and this year top of the league (atm). Something tells me it's not enrirely the players making the difference, and more so the coaching. To some extent the new vibe/energy around the team as well.

I think the starters on MNF rise to the challenge and put up similar numbers as weeks prior.

Big chillin'.
