Also keep in mind that with a run-first team, (and practically a run-only team the first 6 games last year) plus great special teams play giving us shorter fields, Tate had a very good year last year. Better than at least 3 of Boldin's years. Tate has been slow to develop, but one thing he does have is about the best set of hands in the entire NFL. In 2011, he was the only receiver in the NFL to not drop a pass, (qualifying receivers having 50 targets minimum) and last year was in the top 10. Boldin has great hands, too; but my point is, Tate has arrived, and you'll see that in his performance this year.
