Take a look at this guy. Kind of a CMC kind of player. Certainly not to be taken early, but if JS grabs 1 or 2 later round picks to add to our 188 he might be worth taking a chance on. A 6 or 7th rounder. He reminds me of an Okada/Thomas sort of guy. No real need for "gadget" type of player....yet.....watch his highlights. Predominately a WR but also takes snaps at RB. ALWAYS seems to be open, and when not, he seems good at contested balls. Definitely a "football player". Since coming across him, I've gotten him in multiple mocks in later rounds. Some he goes undrafted. Only 1 mock out of a dozen was he taken early (4th round-Raiders) 6' 202lbs...runs a pretty damn good 4.43 and 3 cone @ 6.55 seconds. 16 reps bench.

Its this kind of guy that might add 2 birds with 1 stone in the WR/RB depth chart

Intriguing prospect. Having played at Navy, it's uncertain how good he is. Played some running back in college, but is probably more of a WR. With his size, he should be a slot receiver, but the scouting report is that his route running is a concern since he was used mainly on go routes and screens. But the scouts love his intangibles--leadership, toughness, etc.

I'm not sold completely on him, but hell, if he is still there @ 188 (or there abouts, depending on possible trades) I would have a hard time passing up on him. There would be just to much talent to pass on at that pick range. Having said that, would the Hawks be able to find a niche for him and his skills? I've said it before, the kids a "football player" and to me, that has its own value beyond being just another WR/RB. And he is obviously both of those. This kid just screams "heart" and I'd put dollars to donuts he'd EARN a place on the 53 givin a chance.
