What a... unique way to handle a just-drafted call from a team. He really should have been drafted by the 49ers!

That's probably just genuine confusion from a guy after he was told by the Steelers they were drafting him. Dunno if there's anything there other than him not putting 2 and 2 together immediately.

It’s how he has been acting all along. I don’t believe anyone can make excuses anymore for him.

He just kind of seems like a d***
I doubt I'm the only one who has noticed. Seems like an angry, spoiled baby. Certainly didn't seem grateful at all. Talent is great and all, but does that look like the kind of guy you want playing on your team?

"Why is Philly calling me" out of context does seem like he's a dick.

But within context, I'm going to lean toward him being confused based on what the Steelers did.

He probably thought he was being drafted by them.

Steelers GM and management went full gong-show there.

Now maybe he's really an a-hole overall and this was one of the few times he should be given the benefit of the doubt but I don't know...I don't like making judgements on a player that has yet to take an NFL snap.

Watching the video again when he was told that Philly traded for him, I saw nothing that told me he was a malcontent but that he was honestly confused because the Steelers f'ed him by calling him early than they should've.

Fair enough. I just get a vibe from the kid, seems like an angry, spoiled brat. Hell of a player though.
You just got drafted in the first round of the NFL fricken draft and you're standing there on stage in the biggest moment of your life, looking like you're mad about it. Ridiculous, imo. Grow up kid. Be grateful, give that a shot. Meh, doesn't matter, just an observation. He's not a Seahawk, so it's not that important, to me at least. Just glad he's not a Seahawk.
Lawn, off  🤘 🍺

I think he was more mad at the Steelers for calling him and making him think he was being selected.

But yeah...I like our draft picks.

Still handled it like a 5 year old though.
I don't know how I would've handled it if I was in his shoes.

I would be pretty annoyed with the Steelers.

Anyway, who gives a shit about a Non-Seahawks player?

Good Luck to Philly.

Drafted a talented WR whose skill is going across the middle which is an area that Hurts is allergic to. :ROFLMAO:

I see both sides. Pissed, absolutely. Acting like a 5-year-old on stage when you just got drafted? Lame.

Did you watch him when he was on stage? That's how so. So, he got a call from one team and drafted by another, oh the horror. There are a lot worse things to be pissed off about. Body language matters. I saw a kid who looked like an angry, spoiled, ungrateful brat. You're a 1st round NFL pick, maybe show some gratitude?

I don't disagree with all that, I was specifically referring to the phone call and his reaction. I figured that's what you were talking about

Yeah, that whole thing was a trip. I would be pretty pissed too. They did him dirty. Easy for me to say from the couch, I guess.

I'm glad the Rams didn't draft him, Lemon is going to be good.
