Lots of promise, lots of disappointment. He's Philly's problem now, but the 1-year deal says they're far from all in. He has to prove himself. Maybe he'll grow up, but leopards don't change their spots.

Other teams must have saw what we saw all year. Teams are always looking for CB's and for a guy with his talent and size not even to be able to get a multiyear deal says it all.

I mean, if that was the case then you'd think he would've balled out and avoided crucial taunting penalties while he was in his final year of his contract. But that's okay, all the WR's and RB's know how easy it is to get inside his head and they'll use that just like Puke-a did

I don’t think so because I’m not sure he actually wanted to be here at all.

I don't think he fit here. He was all about numero uno, and this team is all about the team.

bingo that became evident week one. dude chased INTs and jumped routes all game, and then same thing last play just bat the ball away seattle wins. Woolen gave SF that win

That's a steal for him.

Even Philly fans are probably more grateful than ours. Glad he got out, for his sake.
One of the few times I fully agree with Rat

Couldn't agree more. It was time.
Glad he's out, FOR OUR SAKE.
Also, let him pull his selfish, lazy crap out in Philly and see how that turns out.
He's going to get hit by a hailstorm of Duracell batteries by the Fanbase.

Guy was very fortunate to be at the right place at the right time last season (winning a SB).

Now he can F off and enjoy getting things thrown at him by Philthydelphia fans.

Yes. Seattle fans are the issue. It’s not like Reek hasn’t been benched by not one but two head coaches for not playing hard. Philly fans are cool with players not giving it their all.

It was uncalled for.

You see....toffee's obsession is with Drew Lock who actually CARES about the TEAM. 🤨

Riq never cared about anything except #1.

Rat is barking up the wrong tree here.

Well it's probably for the best. A very typical eagles signing. they have consistently taken risks on problematic guys with big talent. Ill never forget how special he was his rookie year here .

If thats all he got there wasn't much of a market. Hope he doesn't clean it up and look like a superstar again over there... if he does he'll get paid next year tho lol

Honestly, this is the best case scenario for him, assuming he understands his faults and wants to address them (big assumption, understood).

If he can mature, which is possible regardless of what others have stated, then he gets paid $15m and earns a more lucrative deal next year.

I was as frustrated as anyone when Tariq turned into Riq. Boneheaded, immature, selfish behaviors that hurt the team. If MM/JS thought they could change him, they'd have pursued.

I wish him luck and hope he finds his inner adult...but wouldn't bet $$ he'll succeed.
