My record ain't perfect:

I started advocating to trade Wilson two years before he was traded, but he was traded.

I started advocating to start Geno befire Wilson was traded, he did start probowls, playoff and all

I started advocating to trade Lockett two years ago, Schneider didn't have what it takes to pull the trigger.

I am now advocating to trade Geno, he is failing to put butts in stadium. It's time.
I still don’t believe you…

What you need to do is advocate the ravens to trade Lamar and a 2nd round pick to us for Geno and grubb

Like geno or not I think the best scenario would be keep geno, he still has a year left, right? Draft a qb, hopefully in the late first or early second and let him compete. Maybe Howell ends up expendable.

Let's face it. We're in QB purgatory with a bridge QB to no QB. I heard it said recently that there are three kinds of teams. Teams with a true franchise QB, teams looking for one, and teams hoping the QB they have will turn into one. I hope we can at least admit we're in the second category.

He's not wrong. He's Trevor Lawrence level decent. The draft is bereft of QB talent. Its Sanders (bust locker room cancer nightmare) or Cam Ward. Cam ward is going top 5. so, you are left with trash like Milroe. Going to have to find a gem in the 2-4 rounds.

That 4th rounder still provides hope, as all he needs is more touches, kind of hope.

This isn’t the draft to be getting a QB. Smart teams will trade down or stay put and draft BPA. Build the team with the draft and bring in another QB in FA to compete with Geno.
This is the one draft you don’t want the #1 pick. Lock did the giants a huge favor

I really think Pitt will cut Russ loose and stick with Fields, but if they don't I wouldn't be opposed to making a deal with them for Justin. I think he has as much potential as any QB likely to be on the market. Another I would like to see us get is Hooker. He and Jayden Daniels topped my QB picks last year.

If a 4th rounder was able to beat Howell for the backup job it would show more potential for “hope” than we have had this year. And if he outperforms Howell he would be worth building up. Is Jaren Hall a legitimate threat to take Geno’s job? I don’t see any problem with trying to find someone worth developing, keep three QBs until the project can beat out Howell and then let him compete with Geno. It’s ok if it takes a year cause if we fix other stuff Geno just might still be able to fumble and stumble his way close to the promise land again

I’d would take a qb late in this draft though, cross our fingers that no idiots take them in the top ten

Geno was great for half a year and then the second half of the year came back down to earth and was good but fairly average in 2022. A lot of guys have short stints like that Nick Foles had one of the greatest 10 game stretches of all time, does that mean he's an all pro based on that. Geno in 12 years in the league has had a half of season of incredible play, another 1.5 of decent play and 10 years of not cracking a starting lineup even while being a high draft pick. Just because he was a monster in the first half of 2022 when no one had any tape of him does that equate to him being anywhere near top 5sh production again.

Now if we bring him back and we improve the line and the running game then he probably plays better than he did this year for sure. I'm in the minority but I don't think it moves the needle as much as the Geno supporters think it does because he's fairly good most of the time. He falls apart in the red zone and just makes terrible decisions that often have nothing to do with "pressure" or the line falling apart. He's actually decent in those situations.

But while Toffee is trying to start a GeNO war or whatever I'm fine if we bring him back for the right price. I don't like this either/or or if you are slightly critical you're a geNO stuff. I'm fine with him coming back because I really think are an average line away from being a 12-13 win team next year. But if you're paying Geno 50 million next year then it makes fixing other areas a lot tough and I don't think a guy with a QBR in the mid 20's averaging an interception a game is worth 50 million. I guess that makes me a hater but whatever. So yeah find the future, bring Geno back if he's willing to play for a competitive salary and see what happens.

No pay geno. No soup for you. You play for what you got or bye bye

Do you think if they bench Geno so they don’t have to pay him his 6 million in bonuses for not getting us to the playoffs, that Geno would be pissed? Maybe holdout next year lol…. Oh no Geno’s holding out …

Lock moved on because we wouldn't pay him starter money to be the backup. I was one of those who hoped we could hang on to him for another season or two, but he wanted more money and a shot at starting, which he wouldn't have gotten here for a couple of more years. 🤷‍♂️
