In a lofty place tanglin' with Satan over history.
I'm agreeing where you wanna go, if I got you right. I was amused by all the Nordic-looking Jesus on ancient artworks, especially those by ancient Italian artists. Not sure why they picked the Nordic look instead of an Italian, Germanic, or Middle Eastern look. Them dudes painted in mysterious ways. I am reaching for a drink now,
They had that GOOOOD SPF 5K 😂

Good grief. Lock at least has an NFL arm, NFL height, and can scramble a bit. So Lock found a weak link in the Philly secondary to go after. Tom Brady found a weak link* in the Seahawk secondary to go after and now we call him Super Bowl 49 Champion for doing that.

Drew Lock was a good signing for 2 years at 5M. If the Seahawks develop a SB 35 Baltimore-Ravens-quality defense, then Lock could indeed lead, er, game-manage, the Hawks to another Lombardi in relief of injured Ginger Jesus, just like Dilfer did for the Ravens, or Jeff Hostetler for the Giants. Or even a poor man's Nick Foles.

Right now, I'm basing my hope for next season on Ginger Jesus and an elite D, not on Drew Lock or Sam Howell.

* Tharald "Toast" Simon was the weak DB link Brady, Edelman and Amendola exploited over and over for the SB49 win.
He had 138 yards throwing against Philly for a whopping 4.8 yards per attempt. I wouldn't call that finding the hole in coverage.

Also, we won't be winning anything with his propensity to turn over the ball. It's harder and harder for a Trent Dilfer figure to come in and win. The Ravens had one of the best defenses in football during MacDonalds last year and couldn't even win with Lamar Jackson.

Lock is a dead end in every respect, I wouldn't even say he's a good backup. No one was lining up to sign the guy with in the NFL. At this point he does not offer anything for us.

Howell will out-compete him this off season.

Howell was hampered by Grubb just as Geno was. I think Howell ends up being QB2. That being said, I really want Drew Allar next year, but I don't think we will be in a position to get him. Therefore, why not take a chance on Will Howard or Kyle McCord this year. Why is everyone sleeping on Howard? Gruden comps him to Josh Allen. Very raw, but the tools are there.
Trading up is a thing. If JS really likes Allar, he'll make an offer.

Lock, too, impressed me as a nice guy and an excellent teammate. If he could somehow improve his accuracy, he could be a starter-quality QB. Sorry, accuracy was the wrong word, ball placement may be more to the point.
I'm sure his wife knows first-hand about his "ball placement".... 200

EDIT : oh come on...it was a funny joke, people.

From Schnieder to geNO and Lock:

This year's the year
It's gonna be alright
'Cause I love you Drew
Ain't nobody gonna stop us now
Come on savior my hearts on fire
Don't deny your man's desire
You'd be a fool to stop this tide
Spread your wings and let me come inside, 'cause
This year's the year
Indeed no one can stop Drew this year, geNO is gone, and Darnold is Darnold.

So I am not sure why people are upset with JS doing this. JS knows you have to stack QB talent when you do not have an answer at QB. First, Howell, then the ginger and now Lock. I would not be surprised if JS chooses to draft a QB too and the team moves forward with the top three.

I am loving it, love to see Schneider trading away geNO, bringing in Lock.

Back to your usual lying passive aggressive posting I see. JS didn't bring in Lock for Geno. Geno wanted out so JS got Darnold.
Lock is just a cheap back up option and you know it.

It's also a bonus that he and Sam knew each other since High School so that QB room's chemistry will be smooth.

Exactly, nothing wrong with have good chemistry. Geno and Lock both got along pretty well. Lock is clearly a good dude and a total team guy. I still think they trade Howell for a late round pick.

Well, it's not like he's a scrub, he just never got a shot here. Which, somehow, equated to "this guy sucks!"
Could be a good backup somewhere, and a good backup QB is invaluable.
