Have you seen what Jesus' most notable followers command? Schneider isn't paying that for a guard.

Not to be confrontational…

We’d save a ton on Gatorade by needing to buy one bottle. And if he can resurrect Woolens career….

Might be worth it.

I always thought of Jesus as more of a QB than a left guard.
Biggest problem with Jesus at QB is the 12 men on the field thing, actually 13. Which two disciples do you bench?
Judas and that short one they call " Cooter"

Who's "freaking out"? Looks like some people don't think he's good. I don't see anyone saying our future is tied to this.

Lock/Howell do some things decently. Howell might have some more upside, Lock is basically who he is at this point. We're probably in trouble if either has to hold down the ship if Darnold goes down for the year. Both are possibly capable if they have to keep it afloat for a game or two depending on the opponent.
Honestly, I got nothing against Lock. I think he's a solid backup. But that's it. I'm just sick of people acting like he's better because he completed 5 straight passes against the worst starting corner in the NFL one time.

Just to play devils advocate. There hasn’t really been any options the last few years. Who has turned out even remotely resembling a pro QB? Nobody. Don’t draft a player just to draft unless you feel strongly about them.

I think they like some guys this year BUT the buzz is QBs are starting to fly up boards. Sounds like 3 maybe 4 guys by the end of the 1st now and a run on the rest of the next tier guys at the top of the 2nd. Could just be getting insurance in case that happens.

They were actively trying to develop Howell last year and have Jaren Hall on the PS. They are trying to develop QB’s
A lot of truth to this statement.

I’m still curious as to how many QBs would’ve had a better career projection under PC…and now MM.

At some point, you have to take shots in the draft. QBs need to be developed. They’re not always going to come in and immediately light the league on fire.

But, developing QBs doesn’t appear to be ‘our thing’.

I think it would be interesting to see how many in here would trade our 4 QB's-
Darnold-Lock-Howell-Hall
For, choose one.
Cam Ward?
Shedeur Sanders?
Jaxson Dart?

All or nothing. I guess my point is that you don't waste a draft pick(s) on a QB unless you have a strong feeling about them.
We've hedged our bets & I like our QB room. I'd like them better with an improved OL.

Ward or Dart. Pass on Sanders. Deion is LaVar Ball with talent.

I would totally take Cam Ward, I've been high on him since his Coug years. I was actually hoping we drafted him last year, and even made a thread about him in the college football forum here, and found out he transfered to Miami. He is going to be a really good qb in the NFL I think. But I'm also happy we got Darnold, I think he's going to have a hell of a year this year.

Having a strong feeling is equally inefficient at times as well.

I totally get where you’re coming from. I’m just saying you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.

Pretty sure Judas goes to the pine ... hell, I'm not even sure I'd keep him on the roster. Terrible attitude ...

The closer we get to the draft the more lies are being told. I am now draft numb, tired of the mock drafts and just want draft day to be here

I believe everything I hear from here until the draft will be a smoke screen

I went back and double checked that. James Bradberry, Jr. was LITERALLY the worst starting corner in 2023, and Lock had a perfect passer rating against him in that game, 6/6, 112 yards, 1 TD, 158.3 rating. Against everyone else, Lock was 16/27, 96 yards, 0 TD, 66.3 rating.

What a stud./s
