He is a future mega star, Schneider is right to handle his contract with more care.I believe all have signed except Nick Emmanwori. If he signed, I missed it.

The fifth year option is the teams option not the players option. Regarding giving both second rounders the guarantee, there’s only one team that stupidly did it so I’m not sure they should rush into it like you suggest.I can't say I blame them. The League has tried to pigeon hole draft picks for years. 1st rounders get the benefit of the 5th year option. 2nd rounders don't get anything. Tons of 1st round talent falls to the 2nd round every year. I knew something would have to start eventually once the League put caps on draftee's pay by slot picked. JS just needs to give Emmanwori & Arroyo the guarantees and get their butts in camp.
I think a lot of team are offering partial guarantees for 2d rd picks these days, say 1-2 years guaranteed off of the length of the contract of 3-4 years. Hopefully they can find a compromise along those lines. The fifth year option is the teams option not the players option. Actually,I believe both players who signed from the 2nd round so far are fully guaranteed. Carson Schwesinger (33rd overall by the Cleveland Browns) and Jayden Higgins (34th overall by the Houston Texans)
And Emmanwori was next up at pick 35, which makes me think a chunk of the GMs around the league are waiting to see what JS does before deciding their own plans.
Also, there could be a ton of pressure on JS from outside FOs and owners to not buckle and hand a guaranteed contract for pick 35, therefore solidifying the case for similar deals for the rest of the 2nd round class
I blame the agent too, it certainly ain't fault of Schneider or Ammamwori.I would place the blame on the agents, if blame is deserved.
I have him down as defense rookie of the year, he is a bigger and faster version of Kam.Ammanwori is ready and willing, contract or not. His work ethic and enthusiasm cannot be faulted.
I’d honestly blame the NIL.. I mean these dudes made more in college than they’re gunna get starting in the pros, now a few years in the pros that’s different but yeah…I would place the blame on the agents, if blame is deserved. I do not think blame is warranted though, Problem is the thing will spread from second round, then to third round etc until all contracts are guaranteed.

Not just one. Cleveland and Houston both gave guaranteed contracts to their 2nd rounders. The fifth year option is the teams option not the players option.
