Now if only he would sign autographs

He does...I have several...but you have to work with a close relative and then you're in. I was talking to that close relative about Doug on friday and he said it's Doug's contract year so he is primed to have a breakout year. He wants to show that he's legit and here to stay. I told him that Doug just has to stay healthy and catch balls...that's just what he did.

Gonna see if I can get him to sign a jersey for me.

Baldwin is all business. He is definitely more emotional on the field than say, Russell Wilson. But the dude is an intense focused competitor. A great asset for this squad.

Well, by that reasoning then, Farve to Harvin was much worse than TJack to Baldwin. Therefore, Baldwin must be even BETTER than his DVOA suggests.
What are you talking about? Favre from which year? In 2009 Harvin had a better DYAR rating (much better than DVOA, as I have mentioned) and in 2010 Favre was one of the worst QBs. And if you want to play that game, rookie Ponder to Harvin earned Harvin almost a good a DYAR score as TJack to Baldwin despite Ponder being much worse than TJack.

Again, the receiver is wholly dependent on the kind of throws the QB makes. If a QB only threw to a receiver when he was wide open from a blown coverage, he would have much better stats despite not doing anything special. I don't know how Harvin was used in his rookie year, so it's impossible to tell from DVOA how good his receiving abilities were. Not that WR DVOA is really useful.

The best thing I'm seeing here is Wilson's and Baldwin's chemistry is better this year. This probably comes from an entire offseason of working together.

Baldwin knows how to get open, and find the holes in the zone. Wilson has figured out where to find Baldwin, and it's going to be like someone said, Bobby Engram - esque.

Baldwin will start owning 3rd downs. Teams will start over playing him on 3rd downs, opening up other options. Then Baldwin will get better looks on 1st down, when he's not the normal targetted WR.

This WR corps is going to be fun. It might not be insanely talented right now, but it's insanely deep. Williams and Kearse look like the real deal, and they can favorably match up with anyone's 2nd team secondary (as 4th and 5th WRs) and I think most starters in the league.
