Gotta love the decisiveness of nothing else! Knight may be getting some quality reps moving forward.

Leading tackle last week..maybe part of the plan to tank the rest of the way and see what they have. Who takes his spot?

He was a guy I listed as “disappointing” contacts the other day. Does not break my heart one bit. New system needs guys to buy in and play within the scheme.

Proof this is nothing more than an evaluation season. Any wins are simply cherries on the top. Mike is in full evaluation mode to see which players he is going to keep and which players won't make the cut. Think of the 2024 season as a 17-game preseason.

This allows me to relax somewhat, and just watch the games without any expecations or hope to challenge for the division.

2025 may be a much, much more interesting - and hopefully satisfying - year.

Happy to see MM has a very short leash for guys not doing their job. LB is a critical position in this defensive scheme and you need guys who can diagnose and shed blocks all 3 downs. Dodson was constantly out of position and washed away in the run game, even if his tackle numbers were ok.

That said, JS absolutely bungled the FA LB signings and everyone outside of the building was already questioning their plans in training camp.

It is an interesting thought. Had we not had a cake walk first 3 games to allow us to go 3-0 we wouldn't have had our hopes up so much.

Remember the turnover in PC's first couple years, with a record of 7-9 both first 2 years. We seem to be heading into a similar sort of record this year.
