They still have some evals to do for starters I'm sure. And it would be nice to have the 1rst team offense in for a couple of series to try to sharpen them up,. They didn't look so great vs the Pack. So....maybe 2 series each?

I'm sure they will do the usual game plan. One series, maybe two. The defense will probably stay in a little longer than the offense. At least that's how I remember the 4th game always going.

I'm guessing they have Miller dress for pregame again then refuse to play him. Miller's health status is off massive importance right now.

I would do 1 series with our starters (inc. ML and Michael), then I'd have Quinn play the remainder of the first half (before turning in his playbook). He would basically just hand the ball off to Turbin, Ware and Coleman.

I'd then have TJ in the 2nd with the same backs, but I'd also ask him to get us some points / win the game.

Defensively, I'd highlight anyone that we plan to cut in hopes of creating enough buzz to get us a a couple 7s in next years draft. Some teams (9ers) will never see these guys fall to them, so trades, IMO, are as likely as welcomed.

I think rest and practice will serve the rest of the team better than playing (at this point).

My preference would be one series max. Wouldn't care if they gave most of our returning starters on O the game off. They played an extra series vs. Green Bay anyway. How much are you really going to learn about yourself against Oakland?

10 plays for the starters, minus Lynch or anybody remotely dinged.

With Kolb possibly done and I mean career done and Dirty Sanchez hurt I wonder if we try to showcase some guys in the hopes of low round or even some good mid round draft pick trades the last game. were perceived deep and teams needing players may not want to see if a wish and prayer happens for a guy they would like to have. Blackmon, Brooks, McDonald, Williams, Kearse, Baldwin, Tate McQuiston, Bailey and yes TJack all could be guys other teams may be willing to do something for. Giving them a exhibition the last game looking to the future may happen.

One long series or two short series. If we start off with a 3-and-out, give the starters one more go. If we drive down and score any points, yank them.

Play our 1's until they score a TD. Time to build a little confidence and continuity going into the regular season. To be honest, the 1st string O hasn't looked good.

This is my way of thinking also. I think we will let Quinn do a lot of the work in this game. To get rid of him before we have to would make no sense. He is still here just in case something unthinkable happens. He gets to show himself a bit more, we have an insurance policy, and then after this last pre season game he goes somewhere else.

Yeah, put Quinn in the film room with Russell coaching his ass. Maybe he'll have a good enough showing against the Raiders to attract some interest.
