You’d think that any team whose starting QB missed practice for 2 days would be worthy of reports during training camp specific shows.

Honestly. We won a Super Bowl. It's up to this team to make me care agoin. I have other thing more important in my life. Go be amazing and I'll jump in full bore again.

Hoping for fair, useful or accurate Seahawks coverage out of LA California or Bristol Connecticut is unrealistic.

There are much better sources and accurate coverage in the Northwest.

I thought most Seahawks fans knew that.

What in the hell? I’m watching ESPN’s NFL Live tonight and an actual Seahawks segment?!?

I feel like I have just seen a ghost.

NFL Radio gives the Seahawks a lot of love. On their program, Pat Kirwan and Jim Miller ranked the Seahawks defensive personnel to be the 10th best in the NFL.

Mainstream sport media won't put PNW teams out there as much as other big cities teams that's just the way it is Always has been. The way to get them to talk is to get good. They had no choice but to talk about the Seahawks during the LOB era.

That’s really saying something considering how bad this defense has been over the last number of years.

I didn't think ESPN was even around anymore, lol. Figured it was a dying media ala MTV, playing reruns mostly with some "breaking news headline". Their content was garbage ten years ago, I can only imagine what that $#!+show is peddling nowadays.

Honestly if our LBs can stay healthy, we could be top 10. Our DL should be a top 10 unit. CB top 5. Safety is still a question mark, but should be improved. I’m not sure how much depth we really have though, if injuries start popping up. But our starters are good enough to be much improved from the crap we have seen the last 4-5 years.

Yep, only one way (2 actually) to get coverage.

Win and they have to cover you, take a big dump on the legacy teams and they have no choice. Even then it will be some excuse for the team that “should have” won, and not props to the team that did win.

Hopefully MM and company will force them into covering the Hawks once again.

I’m hopeful.

Edit:
The 2nd way is, steal a maple bar or get a DWI

I don't let myself get worked up about this stuff anymore (the only thing that matters is wins/losses on the field)...but I did see a tweet that said EVERY single one of Seattle's draft picks this year was made during a commercial break. That managed to piss me off.
Well that's just stupid - can't they pause for commercials? They pause games?

Dumb.

I (like everybody) noticed it in the first rounds over the years. But supposedly it happened for all eight draft picks this year. That's statistically impossible.

Holy crap Inside Training Camp is making me look silly now. I’m watching Saturday’s coverage and they are totally Seahawks centric! Multiple segments dedicated to the team, the scrimmage, multiple player interviews…

My ego states it’s because they heard us bitch.

The national media have no idea what to make of us right now. They don't know if we'll be good or bad, they don't know what type of coach MM is. Cowherd is the only one that said we might surprise people and he only said that after initially saying we'd stink..

To be fair fans don't really know either until the games are played. Even preseason might be rough if Sam Howell keeps struggling so you won't be able to gauge till the regular season.

I think we'll be far improved on defense for what its worth and I expect some players to have breakout years on both sides of the ball. Playoffs will depend on Matthew Staffords/Trent Williams health. I think the Rams/49ers would struggle without either.
