Nice to give him 2 weeks to recover. I wonder if instead of being out completely he could have played limited snaps/key situations instead.

I knew with the bye week coming up they were going to keep him out an extra week. This isnt a damn AFC opponent. This is a division game. We need him out there!

I think our chances of beating the Rams just went from about 5% to about 0.01%

Insert Jim Carrey dumb and dumber photo here.
Yea, this just sucks on 3 different levels.

Honestly - I told a friend just now: I feel like our season is circling the toilet bowl. I know we're 4-4 - but it sure doesn't ******* feel like that. Everyone hurt. Coaches are stupid. Home field advantage vaporized.

Could anything GOOD happen after game 3? Sure doesn't feel like it.

This sucks. Not because we cant within without him, but because our offense wont adjust to compensate for him not being there and so we might not. We will still have an 8-2 pass ratio and fool ourselves into thinking more Bobo is the correct strategic move.

Well, the Rams are only 1.5 favorites despite the DK news, so maybe "the Wise Guys" know something. 🤷

Maybe Noah Fant can start living up to that contract now... Oh wait, he's out too.

I have a history of problems with addiction, so I won't let myself even entertain the thought of gambling, but damn, everything about this game:

- Seahawks are at home
- No DK
- No run game to speak of
- Punter is arguably team MVP
- Coach on verge of losing the locker room
- Just got blasted at home last week, while Rams full of confidence after season-saving win in primetime against 5-1 Vikings
- McVay owns us anyway

And the Rams are somehow favored by just 1.5? God, that feels like easy money.

I'm not worried. The Rams defense isn't much. Let's not forget that Tyler is still an incredibly underrated receiver, and there's a reason why we made JSN a #1 pick, he's got major talent. Let's just hope we can establish a ground attack. I'm not worried about us moving the ball all that much. And there's no Aaron Donald anymore to kill us. You don't replace a guy like that who's one of the best of all time.

and yet we'll probably come out and play inspired football and somehow win. A guy can hope. I won't be watching. Maybe that will help. LA sucks against the pass. Maybe we win in a shoot out.

Who says that Mcdonald is losing the team?
Based on what exactly?
I do think the Rams win this game though.

It's incredible but true! I think Tyler Lockett is a wonderful player, and person.

If you can't reliably run the ball, or keep the opponent's running game under control, or convert few third downs but allow quite a few of them, you are not going to win many games unless the other team make key mistakes themselves.

You can veritably have the Father, Son and Holy Ghost in ball-carrying positions (I refuse to use that IMHO stupid "skill positions" term), but without a decent OL, their performance is going to often be heavily handicapped.

Lets just rest the whole starting lineup. Not a prayer we win this one anyway, but after that, the bye, maybe we come back all healthy and strong and REALLY perform, get three or more wins and be mediocre as can be, not getting a good draft pick, nor a playoff berth!
