That closes the door on any debate around why in part our offense has been so horrible.

3 years with an OC and O-line coach who arent in the league anymore, 1 year on.

If there's an offense in the league that was outstanding despite having incapable coaches in two of the most critical coaching position, call them out. I'd love to see the comp.

The downfall of Pete Carroll, he couldn't hire good help, especially post super bowl:
  1. Bevell - out of the league?
  2. Norton - out of the league, and may never be hired as DC again.
  3. Waldron - out of the league, and may never be hired as OC again.
  4. Hurtt - may never be hired as DC again.
Only Schotty still working as a coordinator, and Rihard is in the league, have I missed anyone?

Schotty id say is more or less because of his fathers namesake and legacy is why he's still able to be in the league.

Schottenheimer has actually done a good job executing the vision of his HC's. He's not the next big name in the league but he's not a terrible coordinator and he has credibility as a QB coach. He was clearly a cut above any of our offensive coordinators since Holmgren. Schottenheimer has a place in the league, he isn't a hot name or anything but he is solid and he makes people tow the line.

When Sean Payton came to Denver he said that he was just going to copy the offense Seattle was running with RW here. That's pretty high praise if you think about, where a offensive coach like Payton just says, f it I'm going to just use your playbook.
