...has been quiet for a while in terms of big plays and deserves his own thread today.

* Sweet open-field tackle on Kyle Pitts in the second quarter to end a drive.

* Heads-up fumble recovery after Demarcus Lawrence knocked loose yet ANOTHER one.

* Had the deflection on the Emmanwori pick.

* Forced a deflection THROUGH David Sills' body while being held by Pitts, then caught the ricochet off Derick Hall, for his pick. With the game out of hand 30-9 in the 4th. That's amongst the most badass screen breakups I've ever seen on an NFL field, and I watched KJ Wright.

Game ball if you ask me.

I really didn't know who Spoon was in college. I mean, who out here watches Illinois play? But just before and after the draft, I started watching all his highlight reels. He just jumped off the screen. It was so obvious. He not only had talent and desire to be great, but his enthusiasm for the game was so apparent. Probably the only thing I worried about watching those films was that his body frame seemed almost too slight for the way he was hitting. Love the guy.

I will rave about his INT all day long as he baited Cousins into that alteration at the line and the play he then makes to anticipate, deflect the ball and capture the ricochet was elite. It’s almost a shame that this play may mean his PBU leading to the Nick pick may get less attention though. Also a high level play and MM commented so in his presser.
