Was so disappointed in him last season, I've been operating under the assumption that he's going to be the next Taylor. Was happy he showed something on Saturday. We certainly need the pass rush help off the edge. Nwosu is coming off injury, and Mafe basically went AWOL the last third of last season.

I would be happy if Hall is a decent depth piece. And ecstatic if he is more than that.

Really expected him to shine last year. Not sure what to expect now.

I still think of Darrel Taylor as more of a speed rush specialist still working on broadening his skills. Derick Hall can already set the edge, is expanding his rushing skill set and dropping into coverage. I think Derrick has more in common with Uchenna Nwosu and Boye Mafe. Although, the comparison I would most like to see Derick Hall develop into is that of a Chris Clemons. That would be special.

Hoping it's not just pre season this year. He needs to carry this into the regular season.

Yea...I see that too. The timing and location of Hall's delivery craters the xing TE.
That was a FUN clip! I'll be damned if I can tell the difference between Derrick Hall and Mike Morris at this point, aside from jersey #s. Help SeaWolv! I don't recall seeing a whole bunch of notable plays from either last year, injuries or whatever.

Not a Top Billin fan, but he did have a hilarious graphic last year of the Seahawks 8-3 defense, where the D-Line had 6 Edge rushers, and IIRC Hall and Morris were 2 of the 6.

Morris’s dreads give it away if you’re at the angle to see it. I think Morris also has one of those big heads where the helmet almost looks too small for him. He’s a big but fast dude. I think hall is a little bit smaller, but still can wreak havoc.

Speaking of Top Billin, he had a nice piece on Morris recently. Don't count him out yet. They both played well this weekend.
