None of those excuses account for the fact he overlooks wide open receivers right in front of him, and when he does see one, he misses his target badly. Something else is going on, either the sacks and accumulated and he is experiencing CTE, his eyesight is gone, the sack total over the years have made him gunshy, IDK, but he is not the same person he was a few years ago and I don't think he will ever recover. If Wilson is Narcist or Delusional he would have wanted to be the hero like he does everytime. Coming back from injury before he was ready last season. Going for deep balls and not for easy first downs. I dont think Wilson is "yellow" he truly believes he can win all the time by playing and making the big plays. Game is not over until it hits zero, that's the time of player i've watch for a decade.
Watching the Broncos play, their confidence in Wilson slowly dwindle. Until they no longer believe in him and now tuned him out. I guess that happens when you continue to lose. I think the injuries truly made a difference especially the RB. Javante Williams was ranked the 3rd best RB beginning of the season. They were 2-1 before his injury. Then you ended up getting Melvin Gordon who possibley cost them several games w/ his continuous costly fumbles. 3 of 4 starting WR were injured throughout the season. They haven't had a consistent o-line this season. Way too many variable to think Wilson is washed.
