Kind of odd we haven't had a touchdown scored by the defense or return teams through 7 games . . . specifically, the defense - as much as they emphasize turnovers I figured we'd see a few here and there.

I'd like to see that trend end this week. We need help scoring in a big way, especially on the road against a good offense like Detroit. Those points can come from the D or Leon.

This is a week we need at least one [and hopefully two] defensive scores. We are WAY overdue on this...and Detroit is going to throw it up a ton. Earl needs to hold onto one of these, find some space, and take it to the house.

On another note I hate these NFL kickoffs that all go deep in the end zone and Leon has no chance to return one. I hate that they changed that rule.

Speaking of that, Browner should have never run out of the endzone on that pick. We'd have had the ball on the 20 instead of inside the 5.

And I digress...

This is something that's going to happen later in the season. The way I see it, we'll get a few nice pick-sixes down the stretch in tight games. Not sure if we're equipped well enough for return TD's at this point.

Browner ran it out because he was trying to make something happen. The offense isn't going anywhere. The defense probably feels like they have to score any chance they get.

we had a ST TD against Dallas...
I think he was going more after pick 6's and kick/punt returns. However your right. Look at what that blocked punt for 6 did in that game. Gave this defense a double digit lead early, and the game wasn't even close after that.

This aspect of the defense has been very disappointing thus far in the season. I hope this will turn around in the 2nd half of the season.

If Kam blocked someone instead of impeding Browner against Dallas, that should have been a pick-6. Or the one KJ Wright dropped against the Boys was looking like paydirt. Only the other guys catch these gifts. Our guys are the stone hands legion of boom. Though Sherman has skills.
