You do realize they didn't flag him for talking trash with Rams players, but for talking ish to the Ram's Coach?

That was a Bill Buckner level screw up if the Seahawks lost tonight. The entire city would forever hate him.

Yeah - taunting penalties in the NFCC are dumb but the refs gave him multiple chances to stop doing it directed right at the bench. Multiple chances. Just go celebrate on your own sideline; it was a great play and completely took momentum away from your whole team. Seahawks would get the ball back up 31-20 with a chance to basically end the game. Then he clearly let it carry over to the next play and McVay/Stafford are so lethal they knew to go right at him. He was genuinely jogging the double move. And then was defensive on the sidelines against the other guys calling him out on it. What could you possibly say other than eat crow and get back out there full tilt.

I don't think he's back next year. He's splitting time with Jobe and sees most of his time in big nickel/dime. MM 100% does not put up with that kind of nonsense. No chance JS gives him a big contract, he takes plays off all the time. He will probably get a Byron Maxwell opportunity where a CB needy team overpays and he rides off into mediocrity.

The shit I find most hilarious is knowing Woolen is more like Kelly Jennings than he is Richard Sherman in terms of physicality but if he even breathes on a player there is a flag.

Yet, JSN can get straight up harassed and man-handled by some DBs yet nothing.

Other than a few knuckle-headed moments in between a lot of lock down play Woolen has been best coverage defender and has really upped his physicality in the 2nd half of the season.

I joined in the witch hunt for the first few weeks but bro deserves his kudos just as any other player, warts and all.

I'm just glad we're talking about it in a "What if" manner because we won. If he does it in the SB and costs us the game, I will be the first to sneak onto the tarmac at SeaTac . Thank God we're winning that game by multiple TD so it's moot!
