I am disgusted. Appalled. Flabbergasted. Concerned.

Last week, all we heard was excuses, it was too loud. Excuses, it wasn't anything they did, we just didn't execute. Excuses, we had too many penalties. Excuses, if we hadn't turnover the ball. Excuses, Legion of Boom was a big bully.

Then we listened to your detractive reasoning:

How many championships do you have?

Seahawks are a poor road team.

We are just too good, we will bounce back vs the Colts and you won't even be in the playoffs.

So on and so forth.

Now... the mighty have fallen back to earth and for the first time Niner Nation is facing a burdensome adversity under Harbaugh, and the climb up the hill does not look good.

The only thing I ask of you Niner Nation out of my utmost respect to your team, if you were to eat at my restaurant which menu item would you prefer?

#1: 42-13 Ass Whoopin Platter

#2: 29-3 All You Can Eat Smash-down

#3: 71-16 Combination Home Cookin Special

#4: 56-10, as in the accumulative points of your current 2-game losing streak.

Actually one positive to take from today's s^^*show was that the 49er offense has legitimate issues and what happened in Seattle just exacerbated those issues. A combination of scheme, lack of good receivers, coaching adjustments, and yes even Kaepernick.

The packers game hinted at it, Seahawks game put it on notice and colts just confirmed it. When did the Luck colts beat anyone this badly?

The 49ers style of football is quite unique, and sustained success has made them the target of coordinators everywhere.

It is a big concern of course but a true fan must always stay positive while becoming comfortable with the fact that the season may not end well. The Ravens looked like garbage in November and won it all. Giants same thing a year before.

The Packers with a readjusted defense will beat the 49ers in their current state. They gave up so much because they focused more about not getting embarrassed than the right balance.

I'll give it up to the Seahawks for having a stronger offensive identity and staying true to it. Week to week you see the constant dosage of lynch, with the right balance of passes to make it work. You don't see that in SF, at least not this year. Kaepernick is currently a gift and a curse with his talents being relied on too much and deviating from what the team does best-- run the ball, play action pass.

The 49ers are in unchartered territory right now with regards to a Harbaugh team in real distress. Something drastic has to change soon or this team may be in danger of missing the playoffs.

Eventually the team will return to its dominant ways...it may even be soon, the talent is too great and their best receivers are still PUP.

But expectations have been readjusted for the short term.

Okay, I'm not a total dick. Really good post on your team. Props. But if SF loses to the Rams on Thursday and the Seahawks pull out the road win in Houston, I don't see your team making the comeback.

they are at a crossroads, their team is in panic mode right now. The niners can either turn it around and be that team they were expected to be, or they could become the Jets where the locker room gets completely out of wack and the team never recovers

"Short term"...are you guys getting younger? Other than your TEs (and there's questions there, too), you are weak at your skill positions. Your RBs and WRs are pedestrian, at best. Your QB is ineffective from the pocket. You will need to let him run and running QBs are essentially "short term" in themselves. I think you'd be 2-1 with Alex Smith, but the genius Harbaugh got caught up in Russlemania and RG3 and well, this.

What do you think you guys will do with what's left of Kaep?? He will need to be compensated and that should be a very interesting sit down. Harbaugh set the team up for a run NOW. The "short term" is the window that is closing as I type.

Think about it. Kap will want big money next year, if they stink it up the rest of this year. They have a big decision to make, pay big bucks and end up with another dirty Sanchez #2 on their hands or let it play out and risk his confidence because they will make him prove it and Kap will make it to the FA market and since he may feel slighted by not getting a extension, he will walk and play for the dolphins.

I remember to well being in the other side of this fence during the Rams glory years and remember what jerks the Rams were. I don't want to be one of those fans.

I agree the talent is there for the ninnirs. They obviously have a problem right now but I agree could come back and be even better than they were. At least stronger. Sadly I hope the players don't implode rather than listen to a strong leader like Harbaugh.

And as I recall we weren't much better than their record a season ago and look what happened to us.

The 49ers are currently working on their goal of #QuestForSixWINS

Remember when Colin said last week "it was us not them", what about this week loser.

i'm not one to kick a team when they're down, but i said this during the offseason. as we got much stronger and deeper in the offseason, SF actually got weaker at key positions and now it's showing big time. How do you lose key personnel and not replace them with key personnel and still expect to compete... We got better over the offseason, lost really no one and added several key players.

niners also lost key players but does not have the depth the replace them, nor did they make an attempt to replace them through FA. They had a medocre at best secondary and what do they do, replace a pro bowler with a rookie. so now they have a mediocre secondary with a very good rookie FS... they lost crabtree, now they have one decent reciever. How do they expect to win with this? Other teams maintained or vastly improved such as us in the offseason. SF actually got weaker. I'm not suprised at their current situation in the least.. I am suprised at the organization , to take so many risks in what is suppose to be a championship year...

The problem I see the the 49ers is they are an aging team much. We had the same thing occur to us after our SB run. The skill positions except for QB are mostly older players.

In Seattle, we save our best for last.

In SF, they're saving their best for the first quarter.

He pretty much said the same exact thing. It's not that either the Hawks or Colts were the dominant team, it's that the 9ers just we're on their game. Yeah right Colon. :177692:

The Dolphins have a better QB already, Kaep could maybe be their backup.

I think the whole "Niner nation" thing is embellished to begin with. Everybody loves a winner, so it should be no surprise SF has it's fair share of fare weathered fans. How many of those are in "Niner nation"? How long will they stay? Case in point:

(I posted this earlier but...) "at least we're not 0-3 like the Giants and Redskins"~ 49er season ticket holder. (are you kidding me??)

"Oh well, I always have my Chargers" ~ 49er fan next door (posed in Playboy, or I wouldn't engage in football related discussions with her...or her husband, at all)

"We lost because our QB was running scared" ~ 49er Husband of 'she with the perfect breasteses'. (He was running scared....or was he being chased?)

My point being...with so many fans (like the Cowboys) how do you identify the real ones?

Hawk fans are REAL fans. We've done as much losing as winning and to my knowledge, not many have jumped ship. And we sure don't have a lot of groupies like "Niner nation", which I have determined, is just a bunch of bullsh*t.

I'm sure we'll get ours and really there is nothing wrong with that.

But to add to your note. My wife bet a 9er fan 20 bucks on the last game. He didn't have the money at the time so I teased him about it (in fun) a couple days later and later that day he paid my wife. She told him she wasn't worried about it and he said he knew but your husband is. Today (after the results of yesterdays beating) I told her to ask him if he wanted to double the money on the other bet they have which is the game at Candlestick and he responded by telling her, Sonia you know I'm not really a Niner fan right? I am actually a Miami fan. I was just wanting them to beat the Seahawks. Buhahaha, he sure was a Niner fan before today. Funny how things happen.

I am more concerned about the coaching than anything. The play calling, game-planning, and stubbornness has absolutely killed us. People keep acting like the defense is finished and overrated....its top 10 in passing yards per game (thats with playing Rodgers, Wilson, and Luck) and near the top 10, if not in it, in rushing yards per carry. We've given up a lot of rushing TDs and yards though because of our offenses inability to move the ball.

Hopefully he's a Houston fan next week. I'd remind him that 'this is a friendly bet...friendly bets typically are straight up, no points'. Let him keep hating on us while you Keep taking his money. All you can do is laugh.
