Just saw this angle from the TV broadcast on the replay.

It seems that the normal sideline view made it seem closer than it actually was.

They said that Lassiter had his fingertips on the ball but this angle shows otherwise :

Great pass, Sam is definitely playing at an elite level the defender didn't touch it, but it was placed in the right spot to be able to get over the defender and still not throw JSN out of bounds...

And on 4th down. NAILS. The view of those throws from my seats, unreal anticipation and placement on those. Shoot, on his TD to JSN, he got blasted. He knew it was coming and stood in there and threw a dime.
He made several damn good throws in this game. The one pick was a bad throw, but also a really good read by the defender. There was a guy after the game walking out of the stadium complaining that Darnold threw 2 picks.

Jesus the JSN Darnold combo meal is quite the deal this year.

And unless i'm hallucinating, I see a BUNCH of passes this year to JSN that Darnold releases before JSN even turns around or breaks on his route. Those two are in each other's heads.......
