Darnold being Darnold

Apparently 1 good quarter and one great drive of football isn't enough.

You need to not play like crap in more than one game.

The defense is doing their job. Darnold is worthless today. Maybe worse, he's a negative so far.
We need him to pull his head out of his *ss and contribute instead of just coattail riding this defense.

This isn't about the 'fumble'. Its about his complete lack of ability to throw the ball for positive yards.

He is playing like a bottom tier QB today, not even a top half QB.

If he doesn't get over the yips he has had since the 1st Rams game, this team won't do much in the playoffs and probably loses to SF next week.

Most of the problem probably isn't Darnold. Its what is being expected of him and how he is being set up to succeed or fail.

He clearly isn't the MVP or even close (that was laughable when suggested earlier this year) but he can be used better. This is more 'Darnold will continue to be Darnold if you keep using him like that'. A better OC would get better results from him. Our OC seems scared to use him unless he has to.

Weird thing is his OC seems to be lost again - instead of adjusting it’s like he can’t until halftime.

Truth. That 1st RamS game broke him. OR (more likely, imo) it broke Kubiak when he decided to change his entire playcalling attitude based on a horrible performance by Darnold in ONE GAME.
