The book on Darnold is he falls apart under pressure and makes dumb throws.

Apparently the book is right.

Of course it's right. He's always struggled with pressure and his clock has always been a smidge slow, which invites the pressure.

He's talented. Truly. But he's not a quarterback who succeeds when thrown into chaos. He needs a lot of structure and talent around him.
