I'm a Bobo fan but I'm not sure he's the one I'd throw a bomb to in that situation. He doesn't exactly have a 'next gear' to try to get that ball, despite his superman catch in training camp. :)

I think he'll be fine...lots of potential
im not a fan of the announcers but i think they nailed it when they mentioned Washingtons Oline and Howell having "battle scars" now. dude's gunna get way better coaching here than he did there.

And an upgrade of players to work with if the opportunity ever presents itself.

0 ints today for Howell. That was his biggest fault, supposedly. He could be around a while.

Howell had flashes of the inaccuracy issues we've been hearing but I thought he's made some smart choices with throwing the ball away in certain moments which I'm sure has been a point of emphasis.

Not at all convinced he looks ready to start but definitely not a terrible showing for a preseason start.

Walker, though, he's got athleticism and can throw but damn if his decision making isn't suspect and he stares down his receivers badly.

Don't think there is any real competition for QB2 at this point.

Howell played well. It was a bit of an unfair contest because we had an actual NFL starter play half the game and the Chargers didn't. But seriously, I thought Howell played well despite not having the starting tackles or DK or Lockett or Walker.

Well I thought we played with discipline, energy, and they looked like there were having fun. Mac seemed very relaxed. For the first game I thought we performed very well. Didn't expect to light the world on fire, but the defense I thought looked better as a unit then we have in two years at least. Offense knowing we were missing several linemen, our starter WR's mostly held out except JSN and was still able to have a good passing attack, running game did what it was supposed to, we had time of possession in our favor also.
