This is a Seahawk topic, I promise.
With the Falcons struggling, Quinn is probably going to lose his job. (Blank has patience but you only have a few more years left of Ryan and that receiving group)
If he loses his job, do we rush in and hire him again at DC?
Our defense is terrible this year and I don't think anyone is going to assume Norton is or ever will be above average as a DC for at least a few years.
Then again, Quinn had a defense lined with HOF and near HOF quality players. We never saw him working with the level of talent that a DC would be stuck with now.
So what would your opinion be?
Bring him in if available, knowing that means demoting or removing Norton?
Hold the course and stick with Norton since we have low talent on D and it does not make sense to expect much more?
Something else?
