I'll be thrilled if he's hurting the 49ers offense in week 1.

It's a bold decision by the Seahawks. Bobo and Young are quality depth WRs and Horton has a lot of potential. The Seahawks need a home-run WR threat. I'm not sure those 3 WRs can deliver that and be counted on for 80 receptions between them.

It's not a bold decision at all to cut a bad player. The mistake was guaranteeing $3M to that stiff. What a waste.

For MVS to get 80 receptions, he'd need 175 targets or more, and I'm being generous. Possibly more like 200. Yikes.

I agree that the Seahawks need an X, and I really think it sucks that they spent a chunk of free-agent change on getting another slot receiver when that was already the best-covered part of the WR corps at the time and the team needed an X. But it's also clear that MVS ain't the X the Seahawks need. In addition to getting down the field fast, an X really ought to be able to catch the damn ball too. MVS is sorely lacking in the hands department.

Might not need a true X in this offense. Horton, Young or Arroyo could possibly work here.

The more I think about this (cutting both NT), the more I think there might be something to the Mazi Smith rumors. Trade for Smith and sign Pili and/or Bohanna to the practice squad. At least one should clear waivers.

I wish he could have had some work with the starters.

Run, run punt. Milroes playback looked not as fun. We are kinda deep at qb. Milroes check is small. He hasn't thrown a pick. He needs better ball security. What's intriguing to me is the idea of two active qbs. One guy gets on the team but can be inactive gameday.

I've been pulling for Cody White. He has some explosiveness and catches everything. It appears mvs is moving on. Yes! Drops are drive killers.

This off-season was executed pretty well.
