did not see young, bobo and horton making the team.. that is a really big WR room
I think it's a perfect receiver room for this offense. Most are great route runners (Young still needs work, but is much better) and almost all can block (not sure about Horton's blocking). The only thing I need to see is Horton becoming the field stretcher they seem to think he is, although I think Elijah Arroyo can help with this. Arroyo on a seam route off of play action could be a nightmare for opposing defenses.

Nah, you've been an a** the last couple days. Just seemed extra lately, that's all.
Outside of the math joke, which you clearly took personally, for that I'm sorry, tell me where I've been an ass. Here, to Jerhawk? I was simply pointing out Macdonald had plans for Milroe, and it wasn't short-sightedly cutting him. Making a smartass comment on the 10 millionth Pete/Raiders drama thread? I explained that there. It's getting old.

My other slights with Milroe I’ve already discussed, but that’s why I posted yesterday that if this team feels like they’re on the verge, a fringe playoff team to some, potentially a division winner to others, you can’t waste one of your 53 spots on a player who is nowhere near being ready to contribute reliably from the jump.
Solid points as usual … but an honest question…

What is one player that we could keep (if cutting Milroe) that would tip the balance and put us over the top as a fringe playoff team? Tuputala? MVS? Martinez? Would this player add more than Milroe coming in as a Taysom Hill kind of player?

I agree that Milroe looked bad this week and you could very well be right. But you have to gamble a bit when it comes to that position.

What blunder? I missed it.
That checks out. Sort of like MVS missing balls thrown his way 😜.

Jokes aside…the positive that helps the $3M guarantee we gave MVS sting a bit less is that they like our young corps of WRs.

Horton has been doing really well. We’ll definitely see more empty sets with Arroyo as well. Maybe that’s a bit much but…dude runs routes like a WR imo.

Doesn't matter, not that important. Not like I don't get that way.

Farewell MVS. I hope you're not playing for the 49ers in Week 1.

It's a bold decision by the Seahawks. Bobo and Young are quality depth WRs and Horton has a lot of potential. The Seahawks need a home-run WR threat. I'm not sure those 3 WRs can deliver that and be counted on for 80 receptions between them.

O’Connell waived is surpassing to me.
I think he'll make the practice squad. And he'll probably see the field at some point. It's often a matter of initially protecting dudes during the rush of moves until rosters settle in. I think.

MVS, simply because of his familiarity with the system, with Kubiak specifically, and he’s a downfield threat who can contribute day 1.

I like Horton, and the team apparently does as well since they’re essentially making him WR3. However, since we’re going to be patient with Milroe, we’ll also need to be patient with Horton as a rookie in this offense.

Great counterpoint though. I suppose when I zoom out, Milroe provides far better future possibilities for this franchise over MVS.
