Depends on the cost. Mafe hasn't been all that impressive for being on a contract year. With the position he plays, I wouldn't be surprised at all if someone pays him much more than he's worth.

I'd take Maxx in a second. Hard worker. In his prime. Great team player. A won't quit motor. A great pass rusher like him would elevate our entire defense. He's a difference maker. A game wrecker.

Raiders may have revved their improvement engines as it is now reported they have fired Pete. Pretty sure an incoming HC would not be in favor of losing Crosby.

If ANY player wants to play for the Hawks, they need to do it at a friendly cap level. If you come here to win, and make a great salary, fine. If you are coming here to be a multi-millionaire? Keep on steppin'. I like that approach, as more teams championship possibilities are destroyed by that approach, than enhanced.

Crosby is great but how many seasons does he have left ?
Mafe is a situational rusher who possibly would sign a realistic deal with the team that had faith in him.
I think Mafe will get a little better than he currently is.

I'd say Crosby has 3-4 strong seasons left if he doesn't get a major injury. He's a workout freak, totally dedicated to his craft.

He has this injury cloud, but in reality, Michael bumpus, on 710, said Crosby has only missed 5 games his entire career

After a couple of months have passed since your comment of what Staton was predicting I think I agree with it. The only real trade offer I have heard was the Patriots offering a 1st and a 4th pretty sure 2 first’s and a solid player won’t happen
Staton seems to think a 1st and 2027 2nd. Id do it.

What the Raiders want for him seems all over the map. Yesterday it sounds like 2 1sts and a player like Hall. Today on Brock and Salk someone said a first and 3rd. My biggest fear is either the Bears outbid us due to having higher picks or a team like the Cowboys do something stupid that no team would match the Jerry Jones special. He is from Texas.
