Way to early but a possibility in final standings

Green Bay wins out 13-3 record
New Orleans losses to SF then wins out 13-3 record
SF loses to Seahawks but wins other games 13-3
Seahawks lose one then win other 3. 13-3 record

In this senerio SF guaranteed 5th. But who gets the other 3 positions?

You should try the playoff machine. Though as someone mentioned, it sometimes doesn't always take in to account the exact tie breaker scenarios like strength of schedule etc.

Without using the playoffs machine, I would guess:

1. Saints as NFC South champs
2. Seahawks as NFC West champs (if we beat SF again, we're champs)
3. Pack as NFC North champs
4. Whatever NFC East loser lasts longest ;)
5. Niners
6. Who cares?

Pack might beat us out at #2, but I'm hoping other tiebreakers give us an edge.

I read an article (GB supporting site) before the GB/SF, SEA/PHI games that if GB won that game and we beat the Eagles our win over them would change the tiebreaker between ourselves and GB which GB owned.

Which is why I was rooting for GB, a 9er loss but also said that GB would also help us own a tiebreaker over NO in a three way tie even though a two way SEA/NO is obviously owned by NO and a two way SEA/GB is owned by Sea and two way GB/NO was owned by GB.

If GB had of won against the 49ers we would already be in the 1 seed spot.

I also used the playoff machine and it supports this in that 4 way tie scenario, SEA losing to CAR, NO losing to SF, SF losing to SEA and GB winning out.

Actually after playing around with it it would go
Seattle
GB
NO
NFC east
SF
Min

NO would lose the Conference tie breaker to both Sea and GB, and Sea would win the Tiebreak over GB for common games.

Seattle would be the first seed because the tie with GB would remove the head to head against New Orleans, so it would go to conference record which removes New Orleans and Seattle would beat Green Bay by common opponents.

1) Seattle
2) Green Bay
3) New Orleans
4) NFC East (likely Dallas)
5) San Fran
6) Likely Minny (2nd wild card)
