What will Pete say tomorrow in his presser that will drive you up the wall?

“We have to be better”
“I have to coach better”
“We are OK, it’s going to be OK”
“We made some mistakes and we need to fix those mistakes and when we do we will be just fine”
“I’m excited for the this team and the second half of the season”

Seems like we've replayed this tape after the last few games.

His job isn’t to appease you, nor does he owe you an explanation. He knows he will never please every fan so he doesn’t try. The owner who pays him is quite satisfied with how he operates so...

...and you have it on good authority that the owner is happy with the performance of Pete on November 15th?

Certainly true now that he has his new contract. He doesn't have to worry about fans influencing owners decisions, which have been made.

I would guess that hey have the ability to see big picture and not one inch in front of their nose...the 5 year deal speaks for its self.

I’m quite sure they checked .net to get the feel of the fans before they made the deal....ridiculous

His job is actually to appease his audience. Remember, football teams are for entertainment. They play for the audience. They don’t play for any other reason. They play for people to pay money to watch. Their job is to provide the best possible product for their fans. If they don’t then they have the right to close up shop or move. (St Louis Rams or dare I say the SuperSonics). People don’t realize the entire organizations job is to proved a winning product on the field. Do you any idea on who business works. The NFL is a BIG business. It’s 100% Pete’s job to appease me and the other 12s.

Mod edit: no more masked f bombs and agitating in the main forum..

They looked underprepared for the 2nd week in a row.
Play calling was abysmal, execution was horrible. Russ was way to slow at processing pressure.
DB’s playing 10 yards off their man in short yardage situations, not enough pressure on the QB.

“Who” business, no I don’t know as much as you. I do know Pete doesn’t give one once of shat about you or your opinion of his work. These men play for championships and money not your approval... now go cuss at someone else

Most snaps at under 3 seconds left on the play clock as well. May as well just put a drag strip light tree over Russ's head for the defenders.

Yep, way too predictable, and way too much thinking going on.
Against the Rams you have to snap the ball at different times on the play clock.
Falling into bad habits again. A defense like the Rams call the play and run the play.

It's a press conference. Bad coaches typically go out and throw people under the boss to the media.

Seriously, the last thing we need is drama leading into a short week.

"We just didn't execute."

"We couldn't get things going."

"We're just not there yet."

What exactly would you guys like him to say? Don't read to much into a presser. The stuff that needs to be said is said in house. Pete doesn't sell out his guys to the public and create unnecessary drama. Which is one of the reasons he is so loved by his players.

Hey Flyingsquad. Where does there money come from? The fans? Who goes to and watches the games, the fans, you and I, so they do work for us.

Ask any coach who has been fired. Your job is to win. Fans don’t show to losing teams. The networks don’t put losing teams on prime time and national televised games.

If you don’t understand this then take some time to read about the last few years of the Rams in St Louis.
