Cowherd also said defensive minded head coaches can't win a Lombardi in the modern NFL. That hot take aged like milk.
So no team will win. Vrabel/former LB, is a defensive minded head coach. This puts us into a bit of a pickle don’t it?

At times we were. The Cards, sure.

At other times, no. It was a schizo season.

We barely eked out wins against the Panthers, the Texans (Sherman Shoe game, went to OT), the Titans, the Rams in St. Louis, and the Bucs (also in OT), most of them terrible teams that year. It's where Pete got his reputation for playing down to the competition at times. We also lost two of our last four.

But there were plenty of other big wins, including all of our last five victories, each by at least three scores. That should have said something.

The media narrative going into the game mostly concerned every microscopic bump and curve of Peyton Manning's jockstrap.
Actually, the Cardinals beat us right before Christmas that season. I’ll always remember D bag Arians saying “new sheriff in town!” That was one game when I started to see the real Russell Wilson.

That’s what jumped off the screen to me. Double JSN and stuff the run? How many defenders are they planning on using?!
Gonzales alone cannot stop JSN. They’re going to have to adjust what they’ve done the ENTIRE year. Throwing #1 CB on #1 WR.

Kubiak is going to have JSN lining up in so many different spots….

The one thing they may be able to take away are our quick screens. Kupp has enabled the screens to look way better than they ever should.

But, Gonzales locking JSN down isn’t going to happen.

Their defense is wildly overrated playing a relatively weak AFC and NFC South. You can't just "double" JSN, you just focus on limiting YAC. As good as Sam as is with JSN as a target, he'll happily toss a ball over to someone else if you're trying to overly focus on JSN, who is going to get open anyways.

I expect fully the Pats will go all-in vs the run and Sam will have a big game in the air with a few breakaways for KW.

Pats lack elite receivers. I think Drake Meh is a solid QB and looks like he's going to have a solid career, but he's not great. I think this is one of the lowest valued QB matchups in the SB in a long time. Basically since Kaep vs Flacco.

Seahawks are a complete team -- O, D, ST. Pats are building towards a consistent competitiveness. AGS as always, but this should be a Hawks win.

It's only his opinion and opinions can be right or wrong.

He could be slowed down a bit off the rush but what are the Pats going to do about defending the Screen Passes to him?

So Gonzo, being your BEST Corner is going to pu$$y-out and not guard JSN like some of your fellow Pats fans are saying?

Not that it would've made any difference. JSN would burn him just like he's going to burn Davis + Door #2 of the Pats.

As far as Marcus Jones goes, he should do a solid job on Kupp but Cooper is one of those guys who still finds a way to get open on plays here and there. He can't completely blanket Kupp EVERY time. He will lose him and those times he does, it will be costly for him and the Pats (and I will laugh at you).

You're going to end up hanging yourself instead of your hat with a dumb prediction like that.

His being mediocre has nothing to do with the weather.

Also an injured shoulder doesn't get better with the weather.

They won't even get to 20 against this Defense.

They averaged 18 ppg overall this postseason.

And this game won't be an exception.

You guys are looking at what The League MVP (Stafford) and a very High-Octane Offense with Top-Tier Caliber players (ie Puka Nacua, Davonte Adams, etc.) did and think that your pop-gun offense is going to do the same.

I have a feeling you Pats fans are going to be in for a very nasty surprise next Sunday.

Also, the Pats defense struggled defending the Redzone and stunk defending 3rd down in the playoffs.

Both those FACTS point to them giving up far more than 20-23 points against Darnold, JSN, and company.

I look forward to never seeing your stupid name around here again after next Sunday.
I’ve been around here since 10 years ago when posters like you were saying the same stuff about the Patriots, in the same way. That went well, right?

Hawks have many good players and are a very good team, but far from invincible. Better teams than them have gone down in the SB. And at QB, NE has the edge, which you’ll acknowledge when this is all over.

In the regular season the Patriots played against four playoff teams and had a record of 2 and 2. In their last 12 games of the regular season , they played against only one playoff team and lost

In the Regular Season the Seahawks played against eight playoff teams with a 6 and 2 record. Or our two losses we went and beat both of those teams twice after losing to them

Patriots have not impressed me in the playoffs but the Seahawks sure have

The Patriots lost to the GeNOPE Raiders.

That's all that needs to be said.
