I don't know about much better. Sometimes availability is the better stat. Also Lockett is a just different type of receiver. Just look at his average yards per reception vs Kupp. Lockett is catching the ball past the sticks for the first down (11-12 yards per reception). Kupp catches them short of the sticks (7-8 yards per reception). Kupp has more YAC, but Lockett has more total yards in the past 3 seasons simply due to availability. (while under inferior schemes and coordinators)

Kupp: (2259 total yards past 3 seasons)

He is much better at this point. Comparing numbers when Kupp missed 5 games just isn't reality. In his prime, Tyler was VERY good. There isn't a team in the NFL who wouldn't rather have Kupp right now. Well, other than the Clams :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
Also, not EVERYTHING has to be a comparison or competition. Gnome sayin?

That's exactly the reality though. He's missed at least 5 games each season in the past 3 seasons.

If he can play 17 games in 2025, I'd be ecstatic.

He wasn’t teased. He was told they would either trade or release him. And I expect he would’ve had a say in a trade as Rams have been pretty good about that with other players.

Rams didn’t treat him badly.

"Teased" is colloquial language. As you indicated, he was told point-blank that he didn't have a future with the team, and that they would be terminating his contract early. Of course, it's a business, this is how the NFL operates, and they didn't treat him badly. It doesn't mean that bottom line, they told him that he was fired. Thanks for the Triple Crown and the SB, but we got a new young hotshot to take your spot. I sincerely doubt he signed with Seattle so quickly simply because it was a couple of hours from his hometown.

As with all of us, you are welcome to your opinion.

Kupp does a lot of his work from the benefit of motion too while Locket is a classic WR on the boundary. That is a good break down. Thank you!

Speaking of Tyler Lockett (at least spell his name right), is anyone else getting the feeling he comes back here on a low $ deal?

Bit of a hot take but I'd take this guy over DK and twice on Sunday. Better hands and better mind for the game.

Comments that Kupp, Earnest Jones etc make about wanting to be part of things here should counter any concerns over guys like DK lasking for a trade to mean that players don't want to come/ stay in Seattle
