So because he’s retiring every botched snap was Williams fault? Alright.

Williams air mailed more than one snap that was costly, Geno also has 1-2 that were on him. It happens
Botched under center snaps are a mutual problem, or can be just a QB problem. But moonball over the QB's head in shotgun are strictly center blowups.

Not to mention the fact that Connor had routinely had snap issues before his Seattle stint

Which to me begs the question why didn't they move him to guard with Olu at center?
Perhaps the coaches still view him as a better center than Olu? It's hard to patch the OL when you have 3 1/2 holes.

Feel for Williams, hope for the best for him

About five years now we have been complaining about the interior portion of our offensive line. Year after year it is below average. This year it has gotten much worse at all three interior positions. The problems are magnified big time by John Schneider’s comments that interior lineman are over valued. I think Joh Schneider is what is over valued

Gregg Bell points out in his article yesterday that with Connor Williams' retirement, the Seahawks have now spent $21 million in free agency that they have nothing to show for: George Fant-Rayshawn Jenkins-Connor Williams-Tyrel Dodson-Jerome Baker-K'Von Wallace.

Fant, Wallace and Jenkins are on IR, the others are gone. Even when the players on IR return, they probably won't start. It's tough to improve your team when you strike out that badly.

At that rate, we would have been better off signing Damien Lewis ($13.5 million per year) with that money.

I was rooting for him to get healthier and become a leader of this oline, but with the understanding that his retirement was do to family issues, I understand and wish him & his family the best...

For sure that’s why I said multiple times it’s on Conner. Geno also had one go right through his hands so not all of them were on Williams. Regardless the relationship between the two just didn’t seem to mesh so hopefully we don’t have that problem moving forward

Sorry, but I don't feel for Connor, unlike Dodson, Connor hasn't thank the city, the fanbase, etc. He quit on this teammates.

Across the league, we had Ronny lott bit off part of his finger just so to continue helping his teammates. Many other players played a game during or right after family tragedies. Quit without a word ain't my style, not should it be anyone's approach in a TEAM GAME.

This is how I feel based on information available.

We have nowhere near enough information to make this kind of judgment.

Should Connor have cut his knee off?

What are the chances he un-retires after a year off? ;)
Oh I fully expect this to happen and it wouldn't surprise me at all. We'll come back in about 9 months to see if we're right.

A bunch of strike outs, no doubt. Better than stubbornly continuing to roll with bad players to save face. Actually feels kind of like a new concept around here.

Our able head coach has already announced his retirement wasn't due to injuries. Macdonald specifically made it clear that it wasn't because of his knee, and I respect our head coach for making this clear to the fan base.

Sorry, I am basing on whatever information is available.
The information is practically nothing aside from he's not here anymore. We don't even know why. You're making a HUGE jump with your assertion that he's ignominiously abandoning his teammates.
