He can run in the respect that he'll take what's there if the defense gives it, but he won't get it very fast. Kind of a poor man's Tebow like that.
but without the fan club. 🙃

44 years old but if he can still sling the rock, he could be trouble if the Hawks aren't paying attention.

doesnt he loose or "reset" his HOF eligibility coming out of retirement. He was named as a semi finalist wasn't he?

It would be a very limited game plan. No way he can pick up all the lingo, and hand signals, and so on. In other words, heavy dose of Taylor, and a ton of check downs.

Ill take googles answer of that conflicting shit mess.

Google - "To be eligible for the NFL Hall of Fame, players must be retired for five full seasons, and if someone unretires and plays again, that five-year clock resets from their last season played, meaning they'd have to wait another five years to become eligible again after their final game, regardless of previous retirement declarations"

Which sounds right. I vaguely remember an interview where a player spoke about this. I just dont remember what player.

I think the fact that he hasn't played for 5 years is a bigger immediate factor than being 44 yrs. old.

Rivers starting against Seattle is a joke. There is no way that is the best available option for them.

Sounded clear to me. 🤪

But really, I am befuddled as to his decision to do this.

I wonder if Indy threw him a ton of cash at his feet that he couldn't resist being the sacrificial lamb here.

Obviously it gives us a HUGE advantage but if (and right now this is still just a huge if) he signs getting him in there against us would get him up to speed faster. If it’s safe to assume that they’ll be hard pressed to beat us either way then having him play makes sense if they want to have even an inkling of a chance to be a playoff team.

Didn't Favre do that like two times?
