Way too much money for that guy. He's pretty damn good, but by comparison, Detroit got a steal with Golden Tate. Different type of receivers sure, but similar value.

He's no better than Tavon Austin. Same size/weight, similar skillset....although Austin was a better NFL prospect coming out of college.

TY owes Luck half his salary. With a bad QB he would not be who he is.

To me, Austin is more like Percy Harvin whereas Hilton is more like Desean Jackson. Austin & Hilton are similar in size, but not really similar in play imo. Austin was a better prospect, but he pretty much hasn't done anything up to this point in the league, so this is goona be a big year for him where people are goona start labeling him a bust or not. Hilton has been on fire since he's been in the league, although yes, he does have a much better QB than Austin.

I don't see why you dump so much money (and draft picks) at WR with Andrew Luck. A QB that good shouldn't need all-world receivers to look good, ala Brady.

Ala Russell Wilson.

I think Tavon Austin had the bad luck of being drafted in to the NFCW and he's scared to death of getting his clock cleaned.

Irsay is a tool and Grigson is a below average GM at best.

Luck is going to break the bank. Whatever is left after Hilton got his, anyway.

Ridiculous signing! He is a great talent but those contracts should be reserved for the elite with size and speed, he has part of that but not all! They will regret that signing once they sign there QB to the biggest contract ever in the NFL.

Speaking of size, this is the same brain trust that traded a 1st rounder that could have been used on Kelvin Benjamin for 5 years on a rookie deal for Trent Richardson. Brilliant.

TBF it was an absolute horrible trade in hindsight, but like Percy Harvin, at the time the trade was MUCH, MUCH more reasonable, as like with Percy, nobody knew that all the reasons why anyone questioned the trade would come to fruition.
