I really wish it could end up with Roddy having 0 yards with a Sherman interception in there somewhere.

I'm confident of a comfortable win in the 7 to 10 point range. Seahawks will control the game from the beginning to end. They'll be +3 in turnovers. At least 1 special teams/defensive score. Offense will grind it out on the ground, eating up the clock and playing field position. It won't be an exciting game, but a W is a W.

The one major thought in watching these past two games has been, what if we were facing actually competent QB's? I think we would have lost both games. Even though Matty Yikes is a mess right now, I think he could end up giving us the ole' Luck job tomorrow.

With the way the O-line has been playing, and with the LBer play of late, I think they could play some serious dink and dunk on us and make it a game.

We're going to blow them out. They don't have weapons to hurt us, they can't stop us, and we're not going to have a mental letdown. It is going to start early and often. Win by 20+. More confident in this game than any game since SF. A freakish turnover game is the only thing that can keep this game close.

I am prepared to offer you a deal. If you are right and this is a blow out for the Seahawks (A win by 20+ points by your definition) I will PayPal or SnailMail you $20 bucks personally. No strings.

How does that sound? To me it sounds like free beer and pizza money if you are correct.

Maybe it is just my perception from opur D not playing up to snuff, but I felt that Clemens and Glennon both looked competent indeed.
Clemens probably more from the "Seahawks make a backup look good in his first start" sort of way. And I had voiced concern with a coworker over exactly that . . Our team seems to give QB's making their first start a real leg up in the confidence department, making many of them look very good in the last few years

Glennon, I thought, was pretty good regardless. He made some big league plays, and had some VERY nice throws. He is young, raw, and goofy looking, but I would not be surprised if he starts building a pretty good name for hmself.

Matt Ryan, though, is a known quantity for our guys, and his help is sorely depleted.

Reall,. there is no reason on papaer for the Seahawks not to go in and flat oen the Falcons.
The onlty reason they might not is thw waiting attitude the team seems to have lately . . . just like the fans, it seems they are waiting for the line to get healthy, waiting for Percy to get in the lineup, waiting for the N.O. game, the S.F. game . . waiting for the stretch run to the playoffs.

The Tampa game, minus the interceptions and the Kearse fumble, was actually a good performance by the O, just bad breaks keeping points off the board, while the D kinda fell asleep.
If the team can stop waiting, and just get on with the game at hand, it should win handily.

Atlanta is a bloody mess right now.

Don't worry.

It won't be a blowout, but the Seahawks will win and it will be fine.

27-13. Something like that.
A good friend of mine who suffers badly from Whinerfanitis even thinks we're gonna win handily. Heres hoping you're both correct.
