It was actually fine. Pete didn't want to give them any time left and with 3 TOs he knew we could go wherever we wanted with the ball.

What did you want them to do there? They called good plays and moved down the field effectively. There should have been a penalty giving them another first down, or a catch doing the same. Giving the Defense a chance to gather up and plan something was unnecessary.

Why would you want to save time for Atlanta? They weren't under a significant time crunch. Why call them just because you have them? Makes no sense at all.

Actually, I agree with not calling a timeout. The offense was clicking with no huddle and Atlanta defense was on their heels. It was just unfortunate we didnt get the call.

It’s not about saving time for Atlanta


It’s about settling down and calling a better play or 2.

They had time to score a TD, obviously way better than a FG.

I see y’all’s point. I reject your reality for my own.
