Getting a little long in the tooth but hell yeah bring him in. Last season he played was better than his 2013 season with us, in which he was a HUGE key. Pre season, I'd like to see what he still has. I think he has earned at least a tryout in preseason with us.

It seems to me the last game showed our D-Line depth is shaky at best. If he can do the job better than those guys bring him in. I doubt he costs much at this point.

The Arizona Cardinals are reportedly continuing to look for help on the defensive line.

The team worked out veteran defensive tackle Clinton McDonald on Monday, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter. The two sides did not agree to a deal at that time, per Schefter.

The workout for McDonald comes after the team had free agent defensive tackle Corey Liuget visit on Thursday, per the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

I can't think where it's ever worked.

John Randle, Ricky Waters, Warren Moon? There more than just A few more too.

Talent just needs to find the right combination of need and opportunity.

The point was when have we ever brought back our OWN former players and had it work.

Excellent call

Although with the caveat that he never really played for us the first time around.

Does Byron Maxwell not count?

Maxwell sucked when he came back.

He was no Richard Sherman, but he beat out Lane and everybody else for that spot. He was at least a decent guy who knew the system and could press.

What's your take on Sweezy?
