This Christmas Day, which falls on a Thursday, there will be a triple header. The first two games, Dallas vs. Washington at 10am PT and Detroit vs. Minnesota at 1pm PT, are televised live exclusively on Netflix. The nightcap, Denver vs. Kansas City at 5:15pm PT, are on Prime Video, my favorite platform for football.

I'll be restarting my Netflix subscription at $7.99/month then cancel it after the one month has expired so I can watch the two Xmas games. I know a lot of people complain about how the NFL is nickel and dime-ing us to death, but for me, the cost to get my football fix is much less than it was when I had Charter Spectrum cable as my TV provider, especially considering that I'm sharing my subscription with two other households. Plus, there might be some content on Netflix that either my wife or I might want to watch.

Anyhow, I just thought I'd point that out to those who might want to watch some football on Xmas day.

Hmm...restart Netflix for Dallas vs. Washington and Detroit vs. Minnesota...not sure I want to bother...I've got Prime for Denver vs, Kansas City...that might be enough for me...

Yeah, neither of those two Netflix games does much for me, either. But it beats the hell out of watching Match Game '78 with my wife. Gene Rayburn and Richard Dawson start getting a little stale after a while. I'll gladly pay $8 to avoid that torture.

Something else I noticed is that we get two Saturday games, both on Fox, in Week 16 or Dec. 20th, Eagles-Commanders at 2pm PT and Packers-Bears at 5:20pm.
