Ehhh Laken Tomlinson and Ziggy Ansah. I wouldn't glaze Willie Schneider too hard.
Tomlinson was our best IOL during his employment with the Hawks.

Sure looks like he's got it going on. Wonder what it was McVay didn't like about him? Those are cherry picked plays but he sure looks solid to me.I like it even more after watching the videos. Feel much better about ILB backups now
Mcvay said they other 2 guys did special teams is one of the reasons. The funny thing is I watched Ram content on YouTube and they loved him . Who really knows ?What happened? why did the rams let him go?
Yeah on whatever ram forum I was reading it seemed like most fans were not sure why they let him go. And we’re not particularly happy about it.Mcvay said they other 2 guys did special teams is one of the reasons. The funny thing is I watched Ram content on YouTube and they loved him . It makes me ha ha happee
Same here. My YouTube feed sent me a couple of lambs podcasts that covered him. They were both talking very highly about how he had performed in the preseason and provided a number of examples where he was playing like a vet. MacDaddy puts a boatload of responsibility on those inside linebackers to quickly. Identify the play call and efficiently get to their positions. While I thought Dodson did a decent job at this, obviously it wasn’t up to standards. What an amazing turnaround and I open it was to see Jones take over that spot. This kid seems to have a similar set of an abilities they are looking for.Mcvay said they other 2 guys did special teams is one of the reasons. Yep…and exponentially pissed we signed him.Yeah on whatever ram forum I was reading it seemed like most fans were not sure why they let him go. And we’re not particularly happy about it.
As I understand it he would have to agree to move to the new team. Also a team poaching him would have to elevate him to their 53 which involves more money. It happens, but not very often. So I guess it is a gamble our guys thought worth taking. But he’s on the practice squad!! If he’s that good how is he on the practice squad
Oh I thought we took him off their practice squad. That’s why it seamed weirdAs I understand it he would have to agree to move to the new team. I am a little bit surprised he wasn't put on our 53 but I believe we already signed one, maybe two other guys he will have to beat out for the spot.
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
Chaz from SF has experience and was added to the 53 for ILB. We have some decent depth now at the position, including O'Conner. But he’s on the practice squad!! If he’s that good how is he on the practice squad

When the cut down to 53 happens, 4+ year vets become UFAs and younger players are placed on waivers. Teams can bid on waived players prioritized by draft order. A team can not claim their own waived player until every other team has had a chance to claim him, this is called "clearing waivers". Once a team's player clears waivers they can be signed to the practice squad. Once a player is on your practice squad the only way they can be poached is if the other team puts them directly on their 53. If the poaching team wants to move them to their practice squad, they have to waive them and the process starts all over again.Doesn't Seattle have the option to elevate him on game days to avoid people potentially taking him from the PS? I know each player has 3 times max before Seattle has to permanently promote them to the 53 man, but don't they have the option BEFORE someone poaches to elevate?
