Interesting. Even though he's been in the league for 4 years, it sounds like he's not quite embraced the mental side of the game. No mentorship outside of his dad. No questions or conversation in the RB room. Film study and understanding how to set up tacklers sounds like a recent development.

Upside? Definitely! Will he gain the necessary maturity before he's 30 to master his craft? Who knows...

Terrific Interview!

Walker focused on upping his commitment to improving diet and workout and life style this past off season. Making beneficial choices. Building relentless reinforcing routine. We fans may enjoy and celebrate resulting outcomes and accumulated accomplishments, but football is really about the process.

Twenty five years of age is when the maturing process tends to make itself known in most males. It would appear Walker's best is yet to come!
