Just the title of this article drew my attention. One quote from Russ in the article stands out:

"He’s probably one of the greatest athletes I’ve ever been around," Wilson told reporters. "To watch his ability to get into the end zone, he sees things that hardly anybody can ever see. He’s physical as can be. He can catch, he can run, he’s smart as can be too, and he’s humble while doing all those things. It was cool seeing him get into the end zone the other night being physical and not giving up. He has that attitude, so that’s what we love about him.”

Go Hawks

That TD run last week was amazing. No quit. Reminded me of someone...

Very high praise from Wilson and rightfully so. There's no other pure warrior in the league than Chris Carson and his humbleness and grit speaks volumes.

It's funny, I think up till his junior year in College people thought he ran well but didn't have enough attempts to make many believe and wasn't physical enough and had been hurt, I want to say that during that time Pete talked to him and told him he has to be more physical to make it in the NFL, I read it somewhere, maybe it was one of the article's when we drafted him. Why Pete was so high on him also he had met him already.

Sadly with the melt down over the loss I don't think it got the credit it deserved.

I said to my dad last night that Chris’ heart and desire to hit guys and punish them remind me a lot of Walter Payton. They’re different in how they look when they run, but that—I will hit you before you hit me and you will not like it—attitude is pure Walter.

I think he’s more akin to Earl Campbell or Larry Csonka

He reminds me of lynch he fights for every inch. & does not mind dishing out punishment on his way down. Giving defenders something extra to worry about

Ricky Watters, Marcus Allen, Roger Craig, Sweetness all had that hit them first mentality and not take a hit. That's what I see in Carson.

Seeing him run over big linebackers is a thing of beauty. He can make you miss, but he can also knock you backwards.

Quite often this year, it looked like a play was stopped at the goal line and he just trucks guys. It's crazy, because the D is ready for it, and still can't stop it.
