Chip Kelly fired

It seems to me like it's about 50/50 on PC returning to be Raiders HC next season. I suppose it will depend on who they can get to replace him. I don't see PC as being a good rebuild coach at his age. And then there's the Geno, Chip Kelly, game passed him by things. Would you want PC as your HC if you wanted to reset at the QB position with a young draftee? Eeee...I don't know. I love PC, but this was not a good ending for him.

Grubb got himself fired, had absolutely nothing to do with Geno.
I agree. IMO Mac and/or JS realized that they had made a mistake with Grubbs and saw a better option available with Kubiak. I don't think it had anything to do with Geno.

Late to the conversation about past players we drafted or signed. I was pissed they passed on Ryan Mallett the year they drafted Carpenter as a guard. Then I was ok with it and kinda accepted he was going to be a bruising ass guard. Then I watched a preseason game where that dude looked like he was running a wr route and got called for ineligible player down the field and said alright, this dude made a mistake.. Then he did it again hahaha.

He wants the ball, he's gonna score.

Pete is on a 3 year deal (contract) and the Raiders still have to pay Chip Kelly the $6 million.

This organization seems to have been badly for quite some time.

grubb seemed like he wasn’t willing to conform to the running type of team Mike wanted. Maybe wouldn’t or couldn’t, but either way he was just too unwilling to adjust what he wanted to do with what he needed to do

It was different for Grubb when he had Odunze ,Pinex & co. Running go routes vs Eastern Montana welding college .

Yeah, it's clear that we're running the ball way more under KK than Grubb, in spite of our OLine still lacking and our rushing attack not being as productive as it could be. It wasn't just the new OC, though, as they made an OLman their top draft pick and beefed up the FB position.
