He could Hirer Russell Wilson as a Player Coach, been a few decades since that has happened, think it was Jim Thorp the last time. Or as Player OC, he knows everything if they would have called the right plays, he would have won at least 6 Superbowl's. :)

I'll take the L on this one. I really thought Chip would be good as an NFL OC in this era of football.

For all the crap he gets about his previous NFL stints, he was consistently elevating his quarterbacks. Hell, Foles went for 27TD/2INT under him. Sure, the tempo stuff was a bit much and he was a terrible GM, but all of the ingredients for being a fine OC were there.

Also changed up his style to have successful, balanced college offenses after his NFL stints.

Usually, if you have a record of maximizing QBs and can also craft up a nice rushing attack... you end up successful.

I was wrong. Geno didn't do him any favors, but he didn't do Geno (or Jeanty, or the OL, or...etc) any either. Just an all around fail of a hire.

You think he'll get another College job? He was pretty successful.
Hear there are a few openings right now, can't remember the hook happening so often in college, this just says money talks now and the College game is desperate for wins with more revenue.

Speaking of College, it was a trip seeing Neuheisel's son on the sidelines on Saturday. Looks exactly like him.

I've gotten a lot of things wrong. I thought Christian Michael was going to be a star but having said that....

Pete, Geno, Chip a lot of this was so easy to see that I'm baffled people were convinced by a few big seahawk twitter accounts that they know ball and if you disagree with them you don't know football. Geno's attitude was super transparent and Petes reluctance to change was as predictable as anything can be. John was smart to cut ties on both and not sign Chip. Thankfull he knows football better than any of us.

You hit the nail right on the head here. I completely stopped thinking for myself, I guess. A damn shame.

Shoot, I bought a T.J. Whoozyourmomma Jersey when he signed here. Talk about getting it wrong. omg 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣
I was convinced Christine was going to be the next Barry Sanders. I was wrong on TJ too. I did call Wilson being a star though because I was a big fan of his in college. We all get some wrong and some right.....I just hated everyone telling us we don't know film or football if we were critical of Pete/Geno. Oh well faded history now I guess.

Geno was overhyped in Seattle I'll admit I rooted for him, but that was because he was the QB for my team. He wasn't good here except his 1st season, and he spent the other 2 seasons chasing that glory. He's showing now it was the team around him not him, just like Russ...
