Just found out the wife got me tickets for the week 17 game vs the Rams.

Any chance this game gets flexed? I'm thinking probably not because there shouldn't be playoff implications - but who knows. Maybe Rams chasing a wildcard spot and the Seahawks wrapping up NFC home field (hopefully they have this wrapped up way earlier).

Also a good chance that a lot of the Seahawks sit out the game? Anyone know how Pete will handle that?

Thoughts? Thanks.

I don't think the Rams warrant being in prime time. Just my opinion.

That game will almost certainly not be flexed. The Rams are playing tough but for all intents and purposes are out of the playoff race. The last week of the season is the one time when NBC can flex any game that it wants and will probably choose one where both teams are fighting for a playoff spot or division title.

As an aside, this will be the third time in four years that we've closed out the regular season playing the Rams at home before advancing into the playoffs.

There are no Sunday night or Monday night games week 17, so nobody is getting flexed that week. They do this so all teams have the same amount of time off for playoffs.

BIG incorrect! There is still SNF but not MNF.

Well, the NFL schedule says differently. http://www.nfl.com/schedules/2013/SNF ... The final week of the season is Dec 29, the final Sunday night game is Dec 22.

There is a good chance the Eagles vs Cowgirls game will be for the division. So if thats the case, that would almost 100% be flexed

I think the Eagles and Cowboys game will be the one flexed if not already in the national spotlight. That's looking like it will have playoff-division title implications.

About the only chance I see of that happening is if Seattle were to lose the next two on the road and San Fran wins their next three and we beat the Cards at home. At that point the final Rams game decides if Seattle gets the number one or number 5 seeds.
