As much as I'd hoped for the Cardinals to knock off this Panthers team ... in my heart of hearts I knew that it wasn't meant to be. Right now, I'm envisioning Peyton Manning experiencing a beat-down similar (or worse) to the thrashing we gave them in Super Bowl XLVIII. With the way these guys are playing right now, that would seem like a foregone conclusion.

And to be completely honest, the thought of Cam Newton being covered in confetti and hoisting high the Lombardi Trophy -- makes me want to retch. Should have been us against this Cardinals team tonight ... should have been us. Next year, you better believe the Seahawks are going to be coming after Cam Newton and company with everything they've got.

I really hope we can start the season better next season and compete for Home Field Advantage. Our schedule should be "easier". Cards should get the tougher schedule.

Aging immobile QB - Cardinals, Broncos

Limited Running game - Cardinals - Broncos

No answer for defending the TE - Cardinals - Broncos

Playing a team that is aggressive and takes no prisoners right now - Panthers.

Not looking good for the Broncos.

Fifty burger. Cards swiss cheese defense.

Can't wait to see how the Panthers do against the Broncos. Broncos need to keep it low scoring which I think they will.

Your heart has to go out to the Cardinals fans. While we had a terrible game, we at least had a chance in the second half. The cardinals went one game further and got trounced twice as bad. ouch...

That is the absolute worst performance I have ever witnessed by a QB. Truly horrific.

Hmm, Nope they got that taken way too :)

Like your avatar, the Cardinals just got sent to the corner with the dunce cap. Actually, it's more like ...

Must admit that when the Panthers lost Benjamin before the season started, I figured they were toast. Big ups to them for dominating the NFC. Their two playoff games had them never truly feel threatened. Sure, they probably gulped a little before the onside kick recovery but their offense never had to change to get them back into a game in the post-season.

I'm sure the Broncos will put up a good game but I don't think they can score on the Panthers. Tough seeing Davis with the arm injury but the Panthers were rolling by then. Could be an interesting Superbowl. I think the NFC wins it.

Broncos are the only AFC team that can play defense like the elite NFC squads. Their secondary is just as good as the LOB. It will come come down to which O-line can hold up better.

True the Broncos defense is very good. Problem is Manning belongs in the geriatric ward at this point in his career. Kawaan Short, Star Lotulelei, and company are going smack his dentures and hearing aids clean off his head. Back in Super Bowl XLVIII, Richard Sherman said Peyton Manning was throwing ducks. These days, those ducks he throws are stuffed and mounted ... and I see those trophies getting taken down off the wall and claimed with great regularity by Josh Norman and company. New England isn't half the defense the Panthers are ... and Peyton wasn't exactly what you'd call dominant against them today. Tell the children to close their eyes, because I don't think it's going to be pretty for the Broncos whatsoever.

Newton is having fun. Russell should try having fun sometimes ... sometimes. This is just a game. A game !!! come on.

Therefore causing children all over the nation to turn into insufferable douche-bags. See the bigger picture here.

Newton raising your kids?

The Cardinals scored more points against Carolina in the playoffs last year...with Drew Stanton.

Well, Brucie? Were you "not even trying", like week 17?
