For all the talk Arians about being ready to come and play... and in a parking lot if necessary, he sure doesn't have his team ready to play. Mistakes galore. They're trying to do too much. Palmer has to realize he's got at least 3 points there. No matter the score difference, the Cardinals are playing much worse than the Hawks did in the first half last week.
Newton is off the charts as an athlete, but he really has some errant throws. He can put the ball in there at times, too. That throw to Olsen on the last TD vs. the Hawks was on the money. But, the guy is 6'-6", 250 lbs. He doesn't exactly have great throwing motion. Just gets by with his size and strength. The Defense is the true "Supermen" of this Panthers team. Newton just takes all the credit.
The Panthers were smart about the team they assembled around him. Fast guys that can get into space. Tall guys, too. They don't even have Benjamin this season.
The way to beat the Panthers is to weather the storm... because they'll definitely stir one up. Not sure Manning is going to match up well. He's a statue back there. The Broncos coaching staff is going to have to pull a rabbit out of a hat with their game plan. Mistake free football is a must because the Panthers capitalize with short field opportunities.
